Dalam kesempatan kunjungan saya ke Tahuna pada Januari 2012, saya sempat singgah memotret di Rumah salah satu Raja Manganitu, Raja Willem Manuel Pandesolang Mocodompis (1905 – 1942).
Rumah tersebut berada di Desa Mala, Kecamatan Manganitu. Rumah yang dibangun sejak tahun 1902 ini masih berdiri kokoh dengan sisa-sisa perabotan peninggalan raja.
Disamping kanan rumah raja terdapat sebuah Makam dari anak Raja, Y.W.J. Mocodompis yang meninggal pada 20 Nopember 1986. Disamping kiri rumah terdapat sebuah bangunan kecil, yang dihuni cucu raja bernama, Adele Paulina Mocodompis.
Nenek yang masih kuat dalam ingatan dan masih bagus pendengarannya ini berumur 89 tahun. Sebuah keberuntungan bagi saya, ketika Oma Adele mau berfoto di depan rumah raja. Tidak semua permintaan berfoto didepan rumah raja dipenuhinya. Maklum, penglihatannya yang sudah rabun membatasi geraknya. Namun semangatnya masih terus menyala.

Wow…this is again a very super article.You went there?But..she is not the cucu of Raja Wellem Mocodompis.Raja Wellem only had 1 daughter>Ratu Yola.
Adele Macahekum was married with France man Mr Dupont.Her father is jogugu HJP Macahekum,married with Emma Pmma Ponto.She is daughter of temp raja Lambert Ponto(1886-92),who married with Wilhelimina Mocodompis;older sister of Raja Wellem.Did you make more pictures therte.Love to see them.My compliments.Better yiuy change the little mistake.I love your site!!!!I have talked to dynastychief John Suoth Kansil of Siau.He will meet with Prince Herry Jacobs;son of oldest son of last raja Tagulandang to go together to Festival Keraton Nusantara VIII in Buton in july.I wan to go there to. Yes, I mean also not a direct grandson of King Mocodompis.
Children of Adele and Mr.. Duppont now still in Tahuna. Unfortunately I can not see him when visit there. According to local residents, they are very beautiful child, inherited the beauty of Adele and Mr.. Duppont.
On each occasion of my visit to the areas Siau, Tahuna and Talaud, I try to visit historic sites. Several collections of photos I still own. Slowly I will publish.

If you write all things like that and you say,that she is cucu,tehn people thibnk,that she is cucu of Raja Wellem.Sorry,maybe you say you mean cicit of Raja Manuel Mocodompis II;father of Raja Wellem,then I agree.Better you can her takhta kerajaan.
I know,that Ratu Yola;only child of Raja Wellem,was married with the Dutch Professor Paul Wery.He was an assistant of Letnant Gubernur General van Mook concerning the Sangir- and Talaud islands.They had no children.They tried to let her be the new ruling ratu of Manganitu,but ther Holland people already had accepted Jogugu Ambong Darondo/Alexander Ambrosius Darondo as new ruler of Manganitu.Ratu Yola and Prof. Wery divorced in 1968.She stayed behind in Indonesia.Prof. Paul Leonard Wery died after 2000.He told me many things about Manganitu before.
As you know nearly all the rajas and many elite of the Sangir-and Talaud islanmds were behaded by Japan,who accuswed them to make a (pro-Holland)rebellion at the end of the WW II.Raja Wellem and Jogugu HJP Macahekum were beheaded.
After her divorce Ratu Yola kived in the palace and at the end of her life,when she was sicj,she was nursed by Adele Dupont-Macahekum.Sorry,so you better also change her name;otherwise it is not correct,what you write.Yes,she is albino,but because f.i. the weather you not see that very good.
Ratu Yola Mocodompis died 20-11-1986.I have a picture of her.I also have a picture of Raja Johannis Tampilang Mocodompis,the cousin of Raja Wellem,who ruled 1892-1905.Probably you did not se that picture.If you still have their adress,I can send it to you via e-mail.The father of Adele Dupont was jogugu of Tamako.
Where have you been during your research trips?About Kendahe dynasty I do not know much.I also would be interested to see the insdie of the palaces.
Yes,in fact you do the same as me>go to old palaces,talk with the dynasties,take pictures,take notes so to preserve all that knowledge an share it with your readers.

P.SW.: Raja Wellem Manuel Pandensolang was born 11-4-1877.He was deposed by Japan 1944.The father of Adele Dupont-Makahehum,Jogugu HJP Macahekum,was executed in december 1944.The raja was then still living in his palace in 1944,he was execiued 19-1-1945.
Tamako was before a part of Siau.After 1900 it was given to Manganitu.I wonder,where the rajas of Manganitu ruled and lived.Maybe there are also old raja graves,etc.
